We share an exceptional and complex clinical case in which gold was the best choice given the patient’s periodontal condition.

We chose dental gold with composition: 87.8% gold, 9.35% platinum and 1.2% indium (material with 97.8% noble ingredients) and achieved the result with the following steps:
1. Reconstructive periodontal surgery to prevent tooth loss, lowering and tightening the level of the gums;
2. Making temporary teeth for gum formation and pink aesthetics;
3. Production of final construction of gold-ceramics;

– At the patient’s request, the area in the first left incisors was restored to resemble the natural look;
– All teeth are saved;
– The patient is trained how to maintain the results with proper washing technique and proper hygiene products;
– When followed after 1 year, no changes in the pink-white aesthetics are noticed – the good appearance is preserved;
